Gateway: Internal Functions

The Gateways Internal Functions:

As well as it's primary function of connecting callers from the PSTN to various VoIP networks The Gateway has a number of internal functions which users may find helpful. What follows is a list of the access codes, most of which start with 9*, associated with "The Gateway" and their function.

Dial Code 9*1: This allows a caller to leave a voice message for the operators of "The Gateway". As well as this we can be contacted via email via our contact form.

Dial Code 9*2: This starts an "echo test". Primarily this will be of use to those users connecting to the gateway from other VoIP networks with whom we are connected.

Dial Code 9*3: Reads back the time from our servers.

Dial Code 9*4: Plays Music on Hold. Terminated by a '#'.

Dial Code 9*9: Call Disconnect. This function simply disconnects the call it was implemented for testing and has been left operational for use by both operators and users.
