Salsify published its second annual equity, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) report, which dives into the company’s goals, strategy, progress, and future commitments.
Salsify’s commitment to creating an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace continues with new learnings and insights from our 2022 ED&I report, which builds on our inaugural 2021 report, “Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: Leading With Equity.”
Salsify ED&I Strategy Overview
In 2022, Salsify implemented a strategy foregrounded on creating equity, diversity, and inclusion through attraction and recruitment; development; and retention. Each of these areas represents an important avenue for building, maintaining, and evolving an environment where all employees can thrive.
Salsify Takes ED&I Strides in 2022
In 2022, Salsify hired Cortni Grange, director of ED&I, and Martha Duffield, ED&I program manager. Within their dedicated roles, these individuals have helped usher in companywide change.
Some of these changes included partnering with Sistas in Sales and Hack.Diversity in the U.S., as well as 50inTech and Welcome to the Jungle in Europe, to better source a diverse array of talent.
The ED&I team also reformatted employee resource groups (ERGs) to enable more powerful discussions of important issues and create spaces for learning, bravery, and support.
Care, Empower, Trust: The Journey Forward
Over the past year, Salsify leadership has listened intently to feedback, which has laid the foundation for the ED&I strategy for 2023 and beyond.
Based on this feedback, we’ll focus on providing greater learning, development, and advancement opportunities for underrepresented groups and putting efforts toward retention and support for diverse leadership in the upcoming year.
This exciting journey forward is made possible by Salsify’s core values, which center on employees that care deeply, are empowered to take action, and trust in the power of their team.
